You may be asking, what is Affiliate Marketing, and why Weebly. Since this instructions page is already incredibly long, I'll answer those two questions and make you a promise, then hop right into it.
1. Affiliate Marketing is a marketing arrangement by which an online retailer (aka advertiser) pays commission to an external website (aka publisher) for traffic or sales generated from its referrals.
2. Why Weebly? Because it's a free website with a lot of cool bells and whistles so you can create a professional looking site to monetize with Affiliate Marketing
My Promise: I will show you exactly how to get start making money with your website today for free

Step two
Click “Sign Up” in the upper right hand corner

Complete this form, making sure to read the “terms” and “privacy policy” for both Weebly and for Square. Then select “Continue”
step four
Select “Try Weebly Websites”:
There are (2) choices, either Square Online or just Weebly Websites. Don’t worry, you will still have access to all of the bells and whistles available from Square, the Free Weebly websites are easier to setup.

Step five
Select your Theme. Scroll through the themes provided. Look at the colors, and the fonts, think about the picture placements. Which Theme looks most like how you want your website to look. Ignore the topic, for instance: If the theme says Yoga, but you like the layout for your Affiliate Marketing website, choose the Yoga. You will be changing the pictures and content anyway, you are just look at examples of what’s possible.
My preference is the “gentlemen’s barber shop” even though my content will have NOTHING to do with the Barber shop! Things I like about it:
These three factors are important because the website visitor can take action as soon as they land on the page. They don’t need to scroll, and barely need to read anything.

- Website menu at the top of the landing page
- Logo at the top of the landing page
- Large Graphic with a “Call to Action” button - at the top of the page

step six
in the Theme Preview view, select → Start Editing, in the upper right hand corner. This will bring you to your website dashboard. These is the aread behind the scenes of your website where you will be adding design, content and value to your website.
You will immediately be prompted to select your domain on weebly.
Today we are creating free website sites, which means that you will be creating a sub-domain of weebly. The more descriptive or specific your domain the more your website will come up in organic search results.
Start with the least amount of words possible, and type it into the “select your domain name” search box. The box will automatically fill in the www. And the .com

As you can see from my results, the subdomain I search is not available on Weebly, and Weebly is encouraging me to register a domain using the paid version and my chosen words are not available as a subdomain. I will simply continue to search words that relate to my site until there is something available.
Once you have found a subdomain that is available, select → Choose → Done
NOTE: If you are truly looking to optimize your domain for organic traffic, check out www.trends.google.com You can type your domain keywords “affiliate marketing” and find frequently searched terms. You can try them for your website domain, that will help with organic search.

Step Seven
It’s time to edit your website. Right now your domain is the only thing set in stone. Everything else is in “draft” mode. You’ll notice in the upper right hand corner there is a “publish” button. When you publish your website, it will be live. AND that also means, when you make changes, you need to SAVE and PUBLISH or the changes will not go live.
Editing your site is as easy as clicking on any text you see and changing it to be content that in in line with your topic. In our case, it will be about Affiliate Marketing.

BEFORE
AFTER
I suggest using the theme and the prebuilt pages as your guide for turning the “shell” into a website. In the example I showed, I didn’t change anything except the words and the picture. There are many tools available, and you’ll see them on the left hand side of the Weebly Website Edit Screen, but for our purposes, you can simple click on what you see… change it to what you want… and scroll and move to the next section of that page.
Turning Your New Website into an Affiliate Marketing Website
Websites are naturally “static” by nature. You can see in the example above, that the default website has “pages”, such as Services, About, Updates, Contact… these are all pages, with content and they are valuable. However, you wouldn’t go into Services, About or Contact very often and update those pages once they are created.
Most ongoing conversations and information are part of the “blog” section of your website. In the example that I’ve selected the “UPDATES” page would be a great name for the blog page.
In Weebly, you need to “add a blog” to your site. This step is easy. AND since my theme came with an “updates” page and I like that for the name of my blog, I’m going to delete that page first, so I can use that name for my blog page. Another good name for a blog page is “News” or “Buzz”

NOW FOR THE FUN PART!
cREATING YOUR aFFILIATE MARKETING CONTENT
It's time to think about the purpose of your Affiliate Marketing website. Your purpose will be your driving force and also what connects you with your audience. Because it is the connection, your purpose can't be to make money.
In other words, your website needs to provide value to your audience. They are "paying" you with their attention, and you need to offer them something in return. For instance, my "audience" would be people interested in making money online with their website. More specifically people interested in starting without spending any money.
In my website, I'm providing free instructions, reviews, comparisons and other tools and insight for my audience. In return, they are paying me with their attention. In some cases, I may offer an affiliate link for a product mentioned on the site and if it's something that my reader wants, then I will earn a commission. HOWEVER, my website is about the value I am offering, not the links I want them to click.
One more comment about purpose and then I'll show you the quickest and easiest way to get an Affiliate link on your site... Write about something you enjoy. Write about something you find interesting. Write about something you know.
The easiest way to have your website found by the search engines is to always be writing something. The easiest way to write, is to write about something you enjoy writing about.
